We Don't Do Dogma

Yesterday we went to church at the Unitarian Universalist Church because we don't believe in dogma and we don't believe that one organized religion is superior to another. We do believe that the structure and community of a church was good for us as kids and will be good for our own squishy. They teach children at Sunday School about the history of ALL religions and push kids to critically think about what they want as their own spiritual path. A community focused on social justice, environmental justice, and inclusion. Plus church is where I was taught to shut up and sit still so I was ready for kindergarten 😂 Then we had a yummy brunch at Red Door Cafe where A.D never disappoints in food and entertainment. #MCM
