Traveling with a Toddler: Are We Nuts? Traveling with a toddler is nuts, but Elle is such a trooper. I woke up Saturday morning at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep. So I worked on my dissertation. Then spent the day tying up loose ends before our flight. We had a red eye to Florida, and had breaky before heading to our cruise boat. We had about 45 minutes before we could go into our rooms, and a very tired Elle did not want to be out of my arms. So thankful that this cruise line has an epic play area for kids and then we took a much needed nap before we left port. I ran into a few of my coach besties and tomorrow we'll all get to workout together. We watched the sunset from our balcony over the ocean with prosecco. We ended the night with dinner. Of course Elle fell asleep at the table as our food was being served. So this momma carefully slurped my mushroom and truffle oil soup over a sleeping babe hoping one little drip didn't fall. And that's motherhood folks and I wouldn't change one bit of it. . . . .
