Dissertation Update: The Light At The End of the Tunnel

A week ago I didn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Balancing work and a toddler while trying to write a dissertation is an interesting battle. Luckily, my Mama @deagonsellshomes took Elle for an outing today so I could write my heart out. . I woke up and hauled a small desk across the house as quietly as possible to a space I work best in (see photo). I made myself a momma crack, worked out, played with Elle, then hid in my makeshift office until Elle and my mom left on their adventure (I had to pee). I have to hide where I'm working, or a little girl will be all over the area lol. . I typed until 3pm, then made up a workout that I missed yesterday since I slept through my alarm....oopsies! My advisor is an editing wizard and gave me my final round of edits within 2 hours of me sending it. By this time, my mom and Elle were coming back with some boba. . So tomorrow morning...it's buckling down time and finishing that final draft!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 Sorry local friends for not seeing you this visit.
