Last Class

My last class of my doctoral program. I almost couldn't go since Elle had been sick. Luckily she was still asleep when I left for class. This program has challenged me to think critically about every aspect of my personal and professional life and how I'm situated in the spaces I occupy. In this class, I was surrounded by 10 strong, intelligent, beautiful women every other Saturday morning. We always had great conversations, discussions, and food. There was laughter and there were tears. I wish I had more time and opportunites to get to know everyone even more. This class offered me the opportunity to start my blog: Critical Feminist Mothering and I hope to continue pushing myself to post regularly and think critically. I don't know any other program out there that challenges you, yet supports you like family. Seriously one of the best communities of scholars anyone could be a part of.
