How To See Paris in 2 Days
Paris in 2 Days
Visiting Paris is overwhelmingly beautiful, romantic, and historical. However, there is so much to see and do that there never seems to be enough time. Below I have lined out how to enjoy Paris in two days without feeling like you don't have enough time. It is important to understand that traveling is not about checking off a box for visiting/seeing/tasting. Instead it is about getting the most out of the experiences you do have.
Day .5 (We arrived in the early evening)
Have some wine & cheese with your bestie aka my seester at Café Saint-Victor to feel settled in.
It is not always possible to see every museum as the lines are so long. If you are short on time, marvel at the architecture of some of the museums and landmarks. We decided to see some of the famous buildings at night, as they were just as beautiful, if not more.
We wandered to Notre Dame, Musée du Louvre, and took the subway to Eiffel Tower. Be sure to see the Eiffel Tower at midnight - you'll see quite a show.
Day 1.5
Get caffeinated and grab a tarte at Blackburn Coffee
Head to Arc de Triomphe for a stunning view of the city, Eiffel Tower, and their museum.
Head over to Ladurée for a delightful afternoon treat.
Head over to Ladurée for a delightful afternoon treat.
Be sure to explore by foot when possible. That way you can see so much more between your planned day. In doing so, we were able to explore Jardin des Tuileries.
Napping is important. We went back to our AirBnB to nap before getting ready for dinner. We dined at Robert et Louise.
Afterward was drinks at Chantier Interdit and Yellow Mad Monkey before our last night sleeping in Paris.
We were able to see a lot / accomplish a lot / smile a lot in barely 2 days. Although there is so much more to see, it was a short and sweet trip to Paris before heading out to the countryside. Stay tuned for an upcoming post in the countryside of France at Lechâteau de Mathieu.
